Paul the Emissary & Apostle Paul
Paul The Emissary: The early first-century followers of Jesus were a small, struggling group within Judaism who seemingly posed no threat to anyone, certainly not the mighty Roman empire. But there was one determined to see this fledging faith exterminated. His name was Saul and he became the greatest persecutor of the early church.
Apostle Paul and the Earliest Church: Beginning with the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, this production reenacts Paul's three missionary journeys on Anatolian soil (modern Turkey). Not only are the key archaeological sites in each city that the Apostle Paul visited displayed, but also the natural, rugged Anatolian beauty-- the same beauty that Paul encountered almost 2,000 years ago.
